The Syracuse Orange football team currently have one win and three losses on their 2012-2013 season record. It seems no matter what we do, we can’t seem to win (except play shitty schools.) Our coaches don’t help, our players don’t help (please don’t beat me up), so we’ve gotta do what every frustrated sports fan does: blame the referees!
Our referees are making all the right calls, and it’s costing our team.
With the referee lock-out over, thousands of replacement referees will be returning to obscurity. But it doesn’t have to be that way. We can save many jobs, and finally get the wins our school cheated their way to get deserves. The other team just scored their fifth touchdown on us? Nullified, all of it, put their scores back down to zero. Did our ball just get intercepted? Nope, TOUCHDOWN SYRACUSE ORANGE.
This could be the beginning of a new era for the University’s football program. I’m talking ninth downs and penalty flags anytime the other team even looks at us the wrong way. We’ve only got eight more games this season, let’s end it on a good note.
