On Monday, March 1 at 12:30 PM, Facebook went down.
An overwhelming percent of the Syracuse Orange fan base attempted to access the site to answer the question, “What’s on your mind?” Several responses include, “SYRACUSE IS NUMBER 1!!!” “WOO HOO NUMBER ONE, BABY!!!” and “SUCK IT KANSAS, ‘CUSE IS THE BEST!” As these statuses began to pile up on news feeds everywhere, Facebook, unable to sustain the gratuitous use of exclamation marks and capital letters, crashed.
Facebook is now on “Orange Alert” and is directing all traffic to the ESPN and AP poll pages.
