Syracuse, NY- The seventh annual Juice Jam is sold out at full capacity of 5,000 tickets. This marks the first year that University Union has sold-out its Juice Jam Festival. The ticket sales of this year’s festival outsold 2009’s week-one sales in just three days. Ticket sales for Sunday’s Juice Jam broke last year’s record by approximately 250 tickets.

As one of the largest Recognized Student Organizations at Syracuse University, we are ecstatic that the response amongst SU students to Juice Jam 2010 has been so overwhelming,” said University Union President Andrew Beyda. “We have an amazing lineup this year, and the fact that the show has sold-out so quickly will only enhance the atmosphere of the event.”

Juice Jam, held on the South Campus Skytop area, has a maximum capacity of 5,000. The capacity to the show is capped by SU based the risk assessment of how many people can safely inhabit the square footage of the festival venue.

Tickets ordered online must be picked up at the Schine Center Box Office. Online tickets orders cannot be picked up at the festival. Schine Center Box Office hours for Sunday are 11:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Juice Jam will feature an eclectic line-up including rapper Lupe Fiasco, synth-pop band Passion Pit, and mashup trio Super Mash Bros. The festival will be held Sunday, September 12th from noon- 6 p.m.
