 Syracuse, NY- University Union Concerts will host hip-hop artist Big Sean and rapper Donnis Wednesday, February 23rd as part of the Bandersnatch Music Series and Winter Carnival 2011. The concert will be held in the Schine Underground at 8:00 p.m., doors at 7:30 p.m. 
Bandersnatch Music Series is a sub-division of University Union Concerts.

Detroit-native, Big Sean, was discovered by Kanye West and later signed to West’s GOOD Music. His mixtapes, Finally Famous Vol.1: The Mixtape, Finally Famous Vol. 2: UKNOWBIGSEAN and Finally Famous Vol. 3: B.I.G. have garnered attention as fans await his debut album, set to drop in 2011. 

Finally Famous will feature Pharrell Williams, Kid Cudi, Chiddy Bang and Mike Posner.

Rapper, Donnis, released his mixtape, Diary of an ATL Brave in 2009 and has since toured with artists such as Chiddy Bang, Matt & Kim and Bruno Mars. His single “Gone” was featured in the new Adidas campaign while “Tonight” received critical acclaim. Southern Lights, his debut album, is slated to be released in early 2011. 

Winter Carnival is a Syracuse University tradition that dates back 1930, offering activities including human dog sled races, ice carvings, chili cook-offs and snow sculptures. For more information, visit https://syr.orgsync.com/wintercarnival.
